Dereon Seabron, a four-star prospect out of the 2019 recruiting class, has narrowed his potential landing spots list to a final five. This news was reported on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
In no particular order, those schools are the Pittsburgh Panthers, VCU Rams, Georgia Bulldogs, North Carolina State Wolfpack and Providence Friars. Of note, Pitt offered the young man a scholarship only a few days ago.
Getting some semantics out of the way first, the youngster’s star ratings are a bit all over the place. Some websites do not yet have any stars attached to his name, others have only three, but 247Sports does have his composite ranking sitting at four-stars. Moreover, he’s just outside their top-100 players in the 2019 recruiting class.
It appears the recruitment process of Dereon Seabron is starting to get expedited. Considering he’s in the 2019 recruiting class, and he narrowed his list only a few days after receiving another offer, don’t be shocked if the commitment comes relatively soon.
