Dekeyvan Tandy, a four-star guard prospect out of the 2019 recruiting class, has narrowed his potential landing spots to just two schools.
Those two programs are the Xavier Musketeers and Ole Miss Rebels. He has lined up an official visit with Ole Miss, heading to campus on October 5. He’s not yet scheduled one with Xavier, though it’s safe to assume something will be lined up at some point before his decision is made.
Not only is Dekeyvan Tandy a four-star prospect according to most reputable recruiting service websites, but most agree he’s one of the 90 (or so) best players in the entire 2019 recruiting class. It’s certainly worth noting some recruiting outlets are even higher on the youngster, pegged him as a five-star.
As we forever note here at CBB Today, while the stars attached to a player’s name is a great gauge to help follow along, and the grassroots gurus do a wonderful job scouting said players, it doesn’t inherently mean greatness (or the opposite) awaits.
Nevertheless, it will be interesting to follow Tandy’s recruiting cycle from here on out. He’s going to make one of those two programs very happy.
