Lester Quinones, a four-star shooting guard prospect out of the 2019 recruiting class, is down to his final five choices. This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
Those final five schools are the Michigan Wolverines, LSU Tigers, Maryland Terrapins, Memphis Tigers and Indiana Hoosiers. As Weingarten mentioned in his report, the Georgia Bulldogs and Ohio State Buckeyes are the two teams cut from his list.
As for Lester Quinones, not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have him pegged as a four-star caliber player, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 60 (or so) best players in the entire 2019 recruiting class.
Considering all that’s left are quality programs and/or schools overseen by known recruiting gurus, it will be interesting to see where the young man commits.
There’s not a lot of time left between now and the start of the 2019 season. With that being the case, expect Lester Quinones to not wait too much longer before making a final decision.
