Terrence Shannon, a four-star small forward prospect out of the 2019 recruiting class, has committed to play for the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
He made the announcement on the mean streets of Twitter:

Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have the young man pegged as a four-star recruit, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 90 (or so) best players in the entire 2019 recruiting class.
Terrence Shannon chose the Texas Tech Red Raiders over a host of other programs, including the Florida State Seminoles, Maryland Terrapins and DePaul Blue Demons.
Before joining the IMG Academy in Florida for his last non-collegiate season, the youngster was with Lincoln Park before that, and grew to prominence among scouts during his play for the Mac Irvin Fire on the AAU circuit.
While the Championship Week is stealing all the headlines, the Red Raiders managed to make some loud noise prior to the Big Dance. It just so happened to be on the recruiting trail.
