Isaiah Hill, a three-star point guard prospect out of the 2019 recruiting class, has committed to play for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
A 5-foot-11 talent, not all reputable recruiting service websites have Hill pegged as a three-star recruit. Some have him currently unranked, but that doesn’t inherently mean scouts are down on him. Rather, it could be for a myriad of reasons, including a lack of attention given during his process and/or people lacking enough information to give him an educated ranking.
Boise State, Cal State, Fresno State, San Diego and a handful of other West Coast programs were interested in the guard’s services. Obviously, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane won that battle despite located a bit more east than most likely expected.
Nevertheless, Isaiah Hill is the kind of commitment who might not wow the Tulsa faithful with the stars attached to his name, but could be a diamond in the rough — the sort who can develop nicely in a program and provide years of quality play for the Golden Hurricane.
