Khadim Sy, a junior college talent in the 2019 pool of talent, has narrowed his potential landing spots to a final five. He made the announcement on the mean streets of Twitter.
Those final five programs are the LSU Tigers, Pittsburgh Panthers, Arkansas Razorbacks, East Carolina Pirates and Ole Miss Rebels.
Sy does have Division I experience, having played for the Virginia Tech Hokies back in the 2016-17 college basketball season. He played roughly 11 minutes per game for the Hokies, scoring 4.0 points per game.
A 6-foot-9 talent, Khadim Sy figures to be an immediate impact player for whatever program he inevitably ends up committing to. The more of a build the program is in, the bigger role he’s likely to play.
While he is now down to his final five, expect his recruitment process to start quickening in its pace. The summer is looming and he’ll likely want to make announcement well before the warm weather starts to cool down again.
