Bryce Thompson, a four-star guard prospect out of the 2020 college basketball recruiting class, will be taking an official visit with the Oklahoma Sooners. The visit will take place on Tuesday.
This news was relayed on the mean streets of Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, who also mentioned the combo-guard was coming off a visit with the Michigan State Spartans.
Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets peg Bryce Thompson as a four-star caliber recruit, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 60 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruitment cycle.
Given his ability to handle the ball, as well as score in bunches, where he inevitably commits to will likely dictate how his unique skill set ends up being utilized.
As for the Oklahoma Sooners, life after Trae Young has seen its up-and-downs, but the program was fine before the superstar and should be just swell in the years that follow. Harrison Ingram, a five-star wing prospect out of the 2021 recruiting class, was recently offered a scholarship by the program.
