Che Evans, a four-star prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has done what all the cool kids do, narrowing his potential landing spots to 10 schools.
In no particular order, those programs making his final 10 are the Boise State Broncos, Boston College Eagles, Florida Gators, Georgetown Hoyas, Long Beach State (yes, that one), Ohio State Buckeyes, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, TCU Horned Frogs, Texas Tech Red Raiders and UCLA Bruins.
While nearly all reputable recruiting service outlets have Che Evans pegged as a four-star caliber player, not all agree where he’s ranked among the best players in the country, with some outlets having him slightly outside top 100 boards.
As we have been noting to the point of nausea lately, recruits who are a few years removed from being in the hearts and minds do have plenty of time to add stars to their name and shoot up top 100 boards. Given the fact Evans’ recruiting class is a few cycles away, he most certainly falls in this category.
Also, since there’s still 10 schools left vying for his services, there appears to be plenty of time before he makes a decision on where he’ll play his college ball.
