Earl Timberlake, a four-star prospect out of the 2020 college basketball recruiting class, will be visiting with the Miami Hurricanes. The visit is official in capacity and will take place starting on September 13.
This news was inevitably relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by several reporters, including Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers and Rivals, who also mentioned the young man has a visit set up with the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Previously, the young man announced his final seven potential landing spots list. Those programs are the North Carolina Tar Heels, Alabama Crimson Tide, Miami Hurricanes, Pittsburgh Panthers, Seton Hall Pirates, Providence Friars and South Carolina Gamecocks.
Below is a nice video of his announcement.

A 6-foot-6 wing, Earl Timberlake has drawn plenty of interest across the country. While Weingarten’s tweet mentions him as a five-star, and even with him trending in that direction, he’s not yet widely viewed as such.
Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have Earl Timberlake pegged as a four-star caliber player, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 40 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class. So, we’re splitting hairs a bit between the four or five-star declarations.
Nevertheless, only time will tell which of the North Carolina Tar Heels, Alabama Crimson Tide, Miami Hurricanes, Pittsburgh Panthers, Seton Hall Pirates, Providence Friars and South Carolina Gamecocks will land the young man.
