Jordan Geronimo, a four-star prospect out of the 2020 college basketball recruiting class, has committed to play for the Indiana Hoosiers.
Unlike some of his contemporaries, the news wasn’t broken on the mean streets of Twitter, but by the young man himself by way of Instagram.
A 6-foot-6 wing, the young man’s story is pretty interesting. He was a relative unknown for most of his time trotting about high school and AAU hardwoods. However, especially over the course of the last (less than a) year, Jordan Geronimo found himself a hot commodity.
Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have the young man pegged as a four-star caliber player, but most tend to agree Jordan Geronimo is one of the 98 (or so) best players in the 2020 grouping. A far calling from his N/A ranking from just over a year ago.
The Indiana Hoosiers hope this meteoric rise continues at the collegiate level.
