LJ Cryer, a four-star guard prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, will be taking an official visit the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday. This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
Weingarten also mentions how Cryer made a visit with LSU a little while back.
Not only do all reputable recruiting service websites have LJ Cryer pegged as a four-star caliber prospect, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 70 (or so) best players in all of the 2020 recruiting class.
A 6-foot-1 point guard from the great state of Texas, numerous programs have been attempting to lure the talented young man to their campus. Schools who have been keep a keen eye on Cryer include the LSU Tigers, Baylor Bears, Oklahoma State Cowboys and just about every other Division I basketball program in his home state.
The Purdue Boilermakers are currently 15-6. They next play Minnesota on Sunday.
