Jaemyn Brakefield, a five-star forward prospect out of the 2020 college basketball recruiting class, will be taking a visit with the Auburn Tigers. The visit will be official in capacity and take place on September 6.
Recently, the young man received a scholarship offer from the Michigan Wolverines. It’s worth noting, the forward is expected to take visits with both Michigan and the Louisville Cardinals. The latter of the two, actually, already has a schedule date for the visit, August 27.
This news was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
Most reputable recruiting service outlets not only have Jaemyn Brakefield pegged as a five-star caliber recruit, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 20 (or so) best prospects in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
Only time will tell if the Michigan Wolverine, and its new era of hoops, can do enough to bring Jaemyn Brakefield to their campus. Or if Chris Mack and the Louisville Cardinals can continue to land top-tier players. Furthermore, if Bruce Pearl and the Auburn Tigers can swoop in to land him.
