Kyree Walker, a five-star prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has backed off his commitment from the Arizona State Sun Devils. As a direct result, his recruitment process has been opened back up, leaving teams with yet another chance to land the highly sought after wing.
It’s certainly worth noting Arizona State’s (then) lone commitment for the 2020 class is not expected to be re-recruited by the Sun Devils.
Programs to keep an eye on, as all were originally in the mix for his services, are Kentucky, Cal, Nevada, Texas and a entire host of other quality programs. Basically, if a school as open scholarships for the 2020 recruiting cycle, which nearly all do, expect them to make a run at the 6-foot-5 talent.
Not only do all reputable recruiting service websites have Kyree Walker pegged as a five-star caliber player, but most agree he’s one of the 15 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
This is a significant loss for Arizona State coach Bobby Hurley, though he has landed to prized commitments for his 2019 class so far.
