Nimari Burnett, a budding five-star prospect out of the 2020 college basketball recruiting class, will be seen by the Oregon Ducks and Texas Tech Red Raiders.
This news was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, who mentioned both schools will host the young man for an official visit when the live period begins.
Back in July, Nimari Burnett narrowed his potential landing spots list to 12 schools. Those programs were the Oregon Ducks, Louisville Cardinals, UCLA Bruins, Stanford Cardinal, Alabama Crimson Tide, Marquette Golden Eagles, Illinois Fighting Illini, Auburn Tigers, Michigan Wolverines, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Arizona Wildcats and Arkansas Razorbacks.
A bit later in July, CBBToday had a chance to interview the outstanding young prospect. You can check out that feature right here.
As for Nimari Burnett, the stars attached to his name are beginning to grow. While some reputable recruiting service websites have him pegged as a four-star caliber prospect, others are starting to tout him as a five. Nevertheless, most tend to agree he’s one of the 35 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
Nevertheless, only time will tell of the Oregon Ducks, Texas Tech Red Raiders, or a different program land the young man. Nimari Burnett has plenty of time left to make a decision.
