Cam Hayes, a wickedly talented five-star prospect out of the 2021 recruiting class, took yet another visit with the North Carolina Tar Heels. This news was first reported on the mean streets of Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
As Weingarten mentions, it was his second visit in a very short period of time.
It’s important to note that, while Cam Hayes is listed as a five-star prospect according to most reputable recruiting service websites, some do not yet track players in a class that far out in terms of top 100 boards.
However, if a player is deemed worthy of having five-stars attached to his name, it’s understood the player is one of the 20 (or so) best players in their class. It’s why nearly every program in the country is eyeing the young man.
While it’s insanely early in the recruitment process for the 6-foot-1 guard, programs such as the Tennessee Volunteers, Clemson Tigers, Providence Friars and over 20 other quality schools have shown interest in the young man.

Roy Williams and the North Carolina Tar Heels should be considered one of the favorites to land Cam Hayes.
