Daeshun Ruffin, a four-star guard prospect out of the 2021 college basketball recruiting class, has committed to play for the Auburn Tigers.
The young man made the announcement himself on Monday, sending out a tweet on the mean streets of Twitter to let people know his intentions.
“Auburn is a great fit for me,” Ruffin said, by way of Rivals. “The coaches, they have been on me from the start. They made me a priority and let me know the plan of the future for Auburn. They valued me and that means a lot.”
Mot only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have Daeshun Ruffin pegged as a four-star caliber player, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 75 (or so) best players in the entire 2021 recruiting class.
Obviously, this is a significant get for Bruce Pearl and the Auburn Tigers.
