Javonte Brown-Ferguson, a four-star big man prospect out of the 2021 recruiting class, will have in-home visits with the Kansas Jayhawks and Texas A&M Aggies.
The visits will begin on Friday. For the Jayhawks, Bill Self will actually go visit with the young man himself. It is not known, at least at the time of this writing, who exactly is going on behalf of the Aggies.
Of course, with Javonte Brown-Ferguson being a large member of the human species, other quality programs are also going to be after his services.
News of the visits was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten. For the sake of clarity, his tweet downright mentions Texas A&M is in for a home visit, but only says Kansas is “in” to see him — which can mean something other than an in-home.
Anywho, not only do most reputable recruiting service outlets have Javonte Brown-Ferguson pegged as a four-star caliber player, but his hovering around the 100 mark in top 100 boards. Given the 2021 class is still a slightly bit out, this can all obviously change.
Nevertheless, the Kansas Jayhawks and Texas A&M Aggies are already high enough on him to start putting the pedal to the medal in his recruitment process.
