Peyton Watson, a four-star prospect out of the 2021 recruiting class, will be seen by Sean Miller, Mike Hopkins and Bobby Hurley on Wednesday.
Obviously, that’s a big day for the young man, as few recruits have head coaches from the Arizona Wildcats, Washington Huskies and Arizona State Sun Devils all coming to see them at the same time.
News of this relevant recruitment happening was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers grassroots guru Jake Weingarten.
As for Peyton Watson, not only do most reputable recruiting service outlets peg the young man as a four-star caliber talent, but most agree he’s one of the 40 (or so) best players in the entire 2021 recruiting cycle.
Outside the schools mentioned, most other solid programs from the warm coast are chasing after him. From Long Beach, this isn’t exactly shocking.
Nevertheless, only time will tell if Sean Miller, Mike Hopkins, Bobby Hurley or another head coach can do enough to lure Peyton Watson to their college basketball program.
