Nate Bittle, a five-star big man prospect out of the 2021 college basketball recruiting class, has received scholarship offers from the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Wake Forest Demon Deacons. This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
Due to the nature of his recruitment, being a highly thought of talent and all, nearly every major program in the country is trying to get the youngster to commit to their school. Given that, coupled with his class not hitting campus for a couple of years, he has time to make a decision and we shouldn’t expect one in the near future.
Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have Nate Bittle pegged as a five-star caliber player, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 10 (or so) best players in the entire 20201 college basketball class.
Given the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets don’t regularly land players of this caliber, especially not with the likes of Duke and Kentucky looming about, it will be interesting to see if this early start on the youngster’s process helps them in any possible way.
As we forever note here, time will tell.
