Nate Bittle, a five-star big man prospect out of the 2021 college basketball recruiting class, has a busy week upcoming. It actually begins with a visit from the Virginia Cavaliers.
After that, the remainder of his week is full, as he’s reported to be visited by the California Golden Bears, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Oregon State Beavers.
This massive news dump was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, who mentioned that the Virginia Cavaliers would be sending an assistant coach.
Due to the nature of his recruitment, being a highly thought of talent and all, nearly every major program in the country is trying to get the youngster to commit to their school. Given that, coupled with his class not hitting campus for a couple of years, he has time to make a decision and we shouldn’t expect one in the near future.
Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have Nate Bittle pegged as a five-star caliber player, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 10 (or so) best players in the entire 20201 college basketball class.
Given the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets don’t regularly land players of this caliber, especially not with the likes of Duke and Kentucky looming about, it will be interesting to see if this early start on the youngster’s process helps them in any possible way.
As we forever note here, only time will tell if the Virginia Cavaliers, California Golden Bears, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Oregon State Beavers, or program note mentioned here, land Nate Bittle.
