Cassius Stanley, a four-star guard prospect in the 2019 recruiting class, has narrowed his potential landing spots to just three schools.
In no particular order, those schools are the Kansas Jayhawks, UCLA Bruins and Oregon Ducks. A California based product, it’s not exactly shocking that two of his three potential programs are located on the warm coast.
Not only do all reputable recruiting service websites have Cassius Stanley pegged as a four-star caliber prospect, but all seem to agree he’s one of the 30 (or so) best players in the entire 2019 recruiting class.
A 6-foot-5, 180-pound wing, out of Sierra Canyon High School, the shooting guard recently had an in-home visit with Kansas. It’s also worth noting he set an official visit for September 28.
The USC Trojans, among many others, were also considered in the running for Stanley’s services. In fact, Kansas making the cut over USC appears to be a bit of a surprise — at least from the outside.
Nevertheless, expect the recruitment process to heat up now that only three schools remain. Stanley is an immediate impact sort of talent, so the three programs will obviously want to lure him to their campuses.
