Qudus Wahab, a four-star big man prospect out of the 2019 recruiting class, has committed to play for the Georgetown Hoyas. He made the announcement by way of his Twitter.

The 6-foot-10 talent announced back in September he was down to a final five potential landing spots. Those programs were the Pittsburgh Panthers, Virginia Tech Hokies, Connecticut Huskies, Syracuse Orange and Georgetown Hoyas.
While some reputable recruiting services websites have Qudus Wahab pegged as a four-star caliber recruit, others have him as a rising/high-level three-star. Regardless, nearly all agree he’s one of the 100 (or so) best players in the entire 2019 recruiting cycle.
This is a rather big get for Patrick Ewing and company. While the Big East remains a rather brutal league, there’s a bit of movement happening in the top five, allowing for a program such as the Georgetown Hoyas to reclaim previous dominance.
Landing good players on the recruiting trail, obviously, helps with that.
