Johnny Juzang, a five-star prospect who was originally a member of the 2020 recruiting class, is reclassifying to join the 2019 grouping instead. The young man turned to the mean streets of Twitter to make his announcement.

This is huge news, as it adds a player who projects to be of instant impact into a 2019 class that’s mostly already recruited and committed to specific schools.
While most reputable recruiting service outlets have yet to reflect his reclassification, Johnny Juzang was not only projected as a five-star caliber player in the 2020 class, but as one of the 17 (or so) best talents in the entire grouping. Meaning, you know, he’s good.
Plenty of teams were already recruiting the young man. However, some of those schools are now out of scholarships, unless a few players remain in the NBA Draft, which makes the rest of the young man’s recruitment pretty interesting.
Obviously, time will tell who ultimately lands him. Conjecture, given he just made this announcement, suggests we shouldn’t have to wait too long to find out. He did mention in his tweet that his decision would come in the next few weeks.
