Al-Amir Dawes, a four-star point guard prospect out of the 2019 recruiting class, will have an official visit with the Seton Hall Pirates. According to Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers, that visit actually begins the day of this writing (Monday).
It’s certainly worth noting the Clemson Tigers and St. John’s Red Storm are also after the young man’s services. The latter of the two actually has an official visit lined up on October 12.
As for Al-Amir Dawes, not only do most reputable recruiting service websites have him pegged as a four-star graded talent, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 100 (or so) best players in the entire 2019 recruiting class.
CBB Today recently took a gander at the Seton Hall Pirates in our Big East Conference preview. With Khadeen Carrington, Desi Rodriguez, Angel Delgado and Ismael Sanogo all gone, this might end up being a transition season for a team that had a lot of talent on it only a few months ago.
Nevertheless, it has to feel good to see Kevin Willard doing things on the recruiting trail if you’re a fan of the team.
