Nate Oats isn’t taking long to do work on the recruiting trail. Andre Jackson, a five-star shooting prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Alabama Crimson Tide.
This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
This isn’t a shocking move, as several quality programs are after his services, and Oats is known as a guy who doesn’t mind working hard to land top-tier talent on the recruiting trail.
As for Andre Jackson, not only do most reputable recruiting service outlets have him pegged as a four-star caliber player, but most agree he’s one of the 40 (or so) best talents in the entire class. It is worth noting, though, a few prominent outlets do have him slotted as a five-star.
As always, he has some time to make a decision before he commits to any school. It will be interesting to see if Oats can already begin luring this level of high school player to the Alabama Crimson Tide.
