Jalen Green, a five-star prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Alabama Crimson Tide. This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
The Kentucky Wildcats, who have already offered the young man a scholarship, were in to visit with him on Tuesday.
This continues an insanely aggressive stretch by new Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nate Oats, who has now offered roughly a handful of scholarships to elite level players in less than two weeks.
As for Jalen Green, he’s as talented as them all. Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have the young man pegged as a five-star caliber prospect, but most tend to agree he’s one of the (3 or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
The new Alabama Crimson Tide head coach has also already offered scholarships to 2020 five-star prospects Cam’Ron Fletcher, Andre Jackson and Nimari Burnett.
The most recent moves by the new man in charge of Alabama is having met with 2020 five-star Daishen Nix on Easter Sunday and offering 2020 four-star Cameron Matthews a scholarship.
It’s, you know, a lot very quickly. Good for him.
