Josh Christopher, a five-star guard prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Alabama Crimson Tide. This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
At this point, it’s absurd the amount of high caliber players new Alabama coach Nate Oats is targeting, especially in the short period of time he has.
The most recent moves by the new man in charge of Alabama is meeting with 2020 five-star Daishen Nix on Easter Sunday and offering 2020 four-star Cameron Matthews a scholarship less than 24 hours before that. Mind you, this is all coming right after extending scholarships to 2020 five-star prospects Cam’Ron Fletcher and Nimari Burnett.
Wait. We’re not done. Earl Timberlake, a four-star prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has also been offered a scholarship by the Alabama Crimson Tide. As has another 2020 five-star, Jalen Green.
Everyone take a minute to take a breathe.
As for Josh Christopher, he’s as talented as everyone else mentioned. Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have the young man pegged as a five-star caliber prospect, but most tend to agree he’s one of the six (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
And we’re all caught up… we think.
