The 2018-19 college basketball season has turned sideways for the Indiana Hoosiers. Archie Miller, a good coach, knows this and doesn’t appear to be taking his team’s recent woes all too well.
On Friday night, the Hoosiers fell to a very good Michigan Wolverines team. It was Indiana’s sixth straight loss, dropping the team’s overall record to 12-8 (3-6 in the Big Ten). Afterward, Miller didn’t pull any punches.
“Our team in general right now is soft, and we’re also for whatever reason right now scared, and you can just tell by the way that we played,” Hoosiers coach Archie Miller said, via The AP. “The fight isn’t there right now, and the confidence isn’t there on either end of the floor to be able to capitalize on any type of opportunity that we have.”
It took more than seven minutes for the Indiana Hoosiers to score on a good Michigan defense.
Up next for the Hoosiers is a game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
