Nimari Burnett, a budding five-star prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Arkansas Razorbacks. This continues a recent trend of the young man being offered scholarships by some of the bigger programs in the country.
This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
The Alabama Crimson Tide recently offered the youngster a deal, with other programs like the Michigan Wolverines also keeping a watchful eye on him. The 6-foot-3 talent has been drawing plenty of interest from a bevy of quality programs. Nimari Burnett has been offered scholarships by the LSU Tigers and Vanderbilt Commodores, as well.
As for Nimari Burnett, the stars attached to his name are beginning to grow. While some reputable recruiting service websites have him pegged as a four-star caliber prospect, others are starting to tout him as a five. Nevertheless, most tend to agree he’s one of the 35 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class. In turn, it’s no wonder programs are going after him.
New Arkansas Razorbacks coach Eric Musselman, who was known to rely on transfers while with Nevada, is hoping to bring the program back to national relevance.
