The Clemson Tigers fell to the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the ACC Tournament after a controversial late-game call by an official. Naturally, after the game, Clemson head coach Brad Brownell wasn’t exactly pleased by the ref’s decision.

“We obviously didn’t execute things in the second half very well,” Clemson coach Brad Brownell said. “I thought kids on both teams really competed at a very high level. Proud of the way our guys fought and really disappointed with the way the game ended. … Too much at stake for things to end like that.”
The loss not only takes the Tigers out of the ACC Tournament, but puts Clemson in a tough spot come Selection Sunday.
A win would have all but clinched a spot in the big dance for the program. With the Clemson Tigers having fallen that early in the league tournament, however, they will need other bubble teams to fall early in their respective conference tournaments and for no bubble-killing teams do to any weird bid-stealing.
