Walker Kessler, a five-star center out of the 2020 college basketball class recruiting class, will have an official visit with the Duke Blue Devils.
This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, who also mentioned the visit will take place after an official trip with the Michigan Wolverines on August 31. His stay with the Duke Blue Devils will begin on September 6.
The 6-10, 225-pound stretch big man made an official visit to Virginia In January, and also took his first official visit with Duke around the same time. He’s also been to visit with the California Golden Bears. Obviously, quality programs are after his services, as he projects to be a player of immediate impact.
Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have Walker Kessler pegged as a five-star caliber prospect, but most agree he’s one of the 15 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
Considering this is yet another visit for the Duke Blue Devils, Coach K is clearly prioritizing the big man.
