EJ Liddell, a four-star forward prospect out of the 2019 recruiting class, has committed to play for the Ohio State Buckeyes. The talented high school player made his announcement on Twitter.
While considering Ohio State, the young man was also down to the Missouri Tigers and Illinois Fighting Illini. For whatever it is worth, those were long considered the three programs most likely to land the forward for a relatively lengthy period of time.
Nevertheless, still a huge get for the Ohio State Buckeyes, as the program has a top-10 2019 recruiting class. Moreover, it positions the program for consistent runs at greatness over the course of the next few seasons.
Playing for the Bradley Beal Elite (yes, the Washington Wizards player) in the Nike EYBL, over the course of a year, EJ Liddell averaged 14.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per contest while shooting roughly 51 percent from the floor.
At 6-foot-7, Liddell brings a lot to the table. Considered a still rising four-star talent, he’s likely to be an immediate impact when he hits campus in less than 12 months.
Good get for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
