Through witchery and magic, or something along those lines, the Indiana Hoosiers still have a solid chance to make the NCAA Tournament. In fact, some would argue the program controls its own fate.
After Indiana defeated the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in its last regular season game on the season, it was an sentiment echoed by Juwan Morgan, who scored 25 points in the victory.
“Everything we want is in front of us, and we just have to take it one day at a time and one game at a time,” Morgan said. “We’re focused on getting better from today and taking that into tomorrow and so forth into the Big Ten Tournament. I think all the guys aren’t taking things lightly.”
With the win, the Indiana Hoosiers next play in the Big Ten Conference Tournament on Thursday. They still can’t afford an early exit, but a few wins in the league tourney, and a debacle of a season could result in a pair of NCAA Tournament dancing slippers.
