Julian Strawther, a five-star prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, will be taking an official visit with the Florida State Seminoles on Friday. This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
This is actually the young man’s second official visit. He went on a visit with Marquette Golden Eagles back in early December.
It is certainly worth noting not all reputable recruiting service outlets have Julian Strawther pegged as a five-star caliber player. There are some who believe him to be a four-star graded talent. That being said, all tend to agree he’s one of the 30 (or so) best prospects in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
A 6-foot-7 wing from Las Vegas, the Kansas Jayhawks, UCLA Bruins, Florida Gators and a bunch of other quality programs are currently after his services.
As for the Florida State Seminoles, Leonard Hamilton once again has the program in a good position for the NCAA Tournament. While it’s still early in conference play, FSU does look like one of the better teams in the nation.
