It appears as though Mark Few is already smitten with a prospect out of the 2021 recruiting class, as the Gonzaga Bulldogs are eyeing five-star big man Nathan Bittle. According to Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers, the program was in to see the young talent and a visit is planned for some point down the road.
Recruits this far out are hard to discuss in terms within reality. While grassroots experts do a tremendous job following these players, a player who isn’t to hit collegiate campuses until 2021 are so far removed from doing so that an absolute ton could change between now and that period of time.
Nevertheless, reputable recruiting service websites that track players that far down the road not only believe Nathan Bittle is a five-star caliber player, but one of the very best players in the entire 2021 recruiting class.
A 6-foot-10 product from Oregon, Bittle needs his body to naturally mature. He weighs well under 200-pounds, which isn’t exactly all that shocking given how young he is. Like any other player of his developmental stage, he will need his body to naturally develop and for some of his post skills to do so as well.
Nevertheless, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are clearly trying to get in on the kid early, as a bevy of Pac-12 programs — including the Oregon Ducks — will also do so.
