Kentucky Wildcats coach John Calipari is forever recruiting. Jalen Johnson, a five-star forward prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, was visited by the head coach on Thursday.
This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
In October, the young man released his final 15 potential landing spots. Those schools are the Kentucky Wildcats, Duke Blue Devils, Marquette Golden Eagles, Arizona Wildcats, Wisconsin Badgers, UCLA Bruins, Ohio State Buckeyes, Missouri Tigers, Kansas State Wildcats, Georgetown Hoyas, LSU Tigers, DePaul Blue Demons, Florida Gators, Minnesota Golden Gophers and Kansas Jayhaws.
His pinned tweet on Twitter is still of those 15 programs.
Not only do all reputable recruiting service websites have Jalen Johnson pegged as a five-star graded player, but most agree he’s one of the very best prospects in the entire 2020 recruiting class, ranking as high as fifth in some top 100 boards.
The youngster is a priority target for John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats.
