Bretner Mutombo, a four-star big man prospect out of the 2021 college basketball recruiting class, took an official visit with the Kentucky Wildcats on Monday.
This news was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Stockrisers and Rivals reporter Jake Weingarten, who mentioned the visit was unofficial in capacity.
Mutombo has had a busy few days, as the Michigan Wolverines just had the son of a former NBA player in for a visit a few days ago.
As for Bretner Mutombo, the 6-foot-10 talent is drawing plenty of interest from big boy programs. Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have him pegged as a four-star, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 70 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 college basketball recruiting class.
Only time will tell how this goes, but never count out John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats on the recruiting trail. Doing so is bad for one’s health.
