Jalen Green, a five-star prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, was visited by Kentucky Wildcats coach John Calipari on Friday evening. This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, who also mentioned that the Wildcats have already offered the youngster a scholarship.
With the majority of the 2019 class in the books, with a few exceptions, most programs are now turning their attentions toward the 2020 grouping of talented players.
As for Jalen Green, he’s as talented as them all. Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have the young man pegged as a five-star caliber prospect, but most tend to agree he’s one of the (3 or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
So, yeah, he’s good at basketball.
As for the Kentucky Wildcats, the program is now forever in a fight with the Duke Blue Devils for one-and-done level players. It’s a back and forth battle the last few seasons, which each program pretty much splitting the top players in the country.
