Andre Curbelo, a four-star guard prospect out of the 2020 college basketball recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Louisville Cardinals.
This news was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
Chris Mack has done a pretty remarkable job on the recruiting trail since helping Louisville move on from Rick Pitino. Entering the 2019-20 college basketball season, the Louisville Cardinals will have one of the best groups of freshmen in the entire country.
As for Andre Curbelo, not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have the young man pegged as a four-star caliber player, but the point guard is slotted as one of the 60 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruitment cycle.
In turn, obviously he’s drawing interest from multiple programs spread throughout the entire country.
It will be interesting to see if the Louisville Cardinals can land him, continuing Mack’s dominance on the recruiting trail over the last 12 months.
