In relatively stunning news, the Loyola Greyhounds have landed four-star international prospect Golden Dike on the recruiting trail.
While other programs such as the TCU Horned Frogs were in the mix, the 6-foot-8 talent chose Loyola. Given he has four stars attached to his name, it comes off as a decent stunner, but the Greyhounds should return a good group of players for next season, putting them in position to do very well in the 2019-20 voyage.
Golden Dike, in terms of how reputable recruiting service outlets peg him, isn’t a four-star at each destination. That’s mostly due to the fact that plenty of those outlets do not track international players until after they commit to a college basketball program. Now that Dike has, he’s expected to have four-stars attached to his name.
In the u18 European Championship this past summer, Dike averaged 6.0 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
Simply put, this is a great get for the Loyola Greyhounds.
