Malcolm Wilson, a rising big man prospect out of the 2019 recruiting class, has committed to play for Patrick Ewing and the Georgetown Hoyas.
From South Carolina, Ewing beat out the Clemson Tigers, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and a host of other quality programs to land the young man’s services.
As for the number of stars attached to the young man’s name, most reputable recruiting service websites currently have only three of them circling around his recruiting pages. However, most do agree he’s a rising talent in the 2019 class. Furthermore, Malcolm Wilson does still find himself considered one of the 170 best players in the 2019 class, as well as falling within being the best 35 centers in it.
He’s a bit raw, and will likely need time to develop.
A 6-foot-11 talent, Wilson is actually Ewing’s second 2019 commitment, though his first from the states, as international prospect Timothy Igohoefe is already committed to the Georgetown Hoyas.
As for the upcoming college basketball season, CBB Today does project Georgetown to fight for a spot in the NCAA Tournament in our Big East Conference preview.
