Cliff Omoruyi, a four-star big man prospect out of the 2020 college basketball recruiting class, has been offered scholarships by the Maryland Terrapins and TCU Horned Frogs.
This news was relayed on the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, who also mentioned the Maryland offer came after the young man’s unofficial visit with the program.
It’s certainly worth noting programs like the Kentucky Wildcats have also already offered him a scholarship. There’s also schools like the Pittsburgh Panthers that are keeping a keen eye on the big man.
Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have Cliff Omoruyi pegged as a four-star caliber prospect, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 65 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class. It explains why nearly every quality program would like for him to attend their school.
Obviously, the Maryland Terrapins and TCU Horned Frogs are hoping to land him.
