Pierre Brooks, a four-star shooting guard in the 2020 recruiting class, is set for an unofficial visit with the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday. This news was relayed on Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
Brooks is an interesting prospect for a variety of reasons. While Weingarten calls him a four-star, not all reputable recruiting service outlets peg him as such. He is, at the very least, considered one of the better players in his recruiting class.
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard will likely continue to draw plenty of attention nationally, as he’s already had unofficial visits with the Louisville Cardinals, Michigan Wolverines and the Michigan State Spartans once before this visit. In fact, he’s visited both Louisville and now Michigan State twice.
Pierre Brooks should continue to shoot up a lot of recruiting services’ top 100 boards and — for those that do not yet have four-stars attached to his name — earn an extra star before he ultimately commits.
