New Michigan Wolverines coach Juwan Howard is already busy on the college basketball recruiting trail, reaffirming the program’s offer to 2020 five-star Walker Kessler, as well as hosting 2021 four-star Bretner Mutombo.
Walker Kessler, a five-star center out of the 2020 college basketball class recruiting class, was obviously already offered a scholarship from Michigan, but under the previous regime. Howard is simply letting Kessler know he’s both honoring the previous over, as well as wanting the young man’s services.
As for Bretner Mutombo, the 6-foot-10 talent is drawing plenty of interest from big boy programs. Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have him pegged as a four-star, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 70 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 college basketball recruiting class.
As for Walker Kessler, he’s not only pegged as a five-star caliber prospect, but most agree he’s one of the 15 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
Nevertheless, Juwan Howard is starting off his tenure as the new Michigan Wolverines coach as a busy man.
