Micah Peavy, a four-star prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has been extended a scholarship offer by the Michigan Wolverines. This news was reported by various people. Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten was among them. He also mentioned how the young man also took an official visit with the school over the weekend.
Given the timing of the offer, coupled with the visit, it’s rather obvious the two events are correlated.
As for Micah Peavy, not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have the youngster pegged as a four-star caliber player, but nearly all agree he’s one of the 60 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.
None of this is all that shocking coming out of Ann Arbor. The Michigan Wolverines have been on fire this season. Moreover, they are regularly competing for higher end talent on the recruiting trail.
A 6-foot-5 wing, it’s natural to assume Peavy has good qualities on the defensive end of the floor, as those are trademark skills needed when playing for Michigan.
