Myron Gardner, a four-star small forward prospect out of the 2019 recruiting class, has been extended a scholarship offer by the Missouri Tigers. This recruiting news was reported by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten on Twitter.
It’s certainly worth noting that back in October the young man took a campus visit with the Xavier Musketeers.
As for Myron Gardner, not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have the young man pegged as a four-star caliber prospect, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 50 (or so) best players in the entire 2019 recruiting class.
From Detroit, at least at the time of this writing, most grassroots gurus do believe the Musketeers are the favorites to land the 6-foot-6 talent’s services.
The Missouri Tigers can certainly use a player of Gardner’s talents. Unfortunately for the program, despite landing highly thought of recruits fairly regularly, injuries have derailed the school from fully being able to reach their potential the last two seasons.
It’s relatively early in his recruitment process. CBB Today will keep you posted as more information comes to the surface in regards to Myron Gardner.
