James Wiseman, the number one overall recruit in the 2019 recruiting class, has narrowed his potential landing spots to just five schools. He made the announcement on Twitter.
The remaining programs are the Florida State Seminoles, Kansas Jayhawks, Kentucky Wildcats, Memphis Tigers and Vanderbilt Commodores. The big man had scheduled in-home visits with Kentucky, Kansas and Memphis.
For the sake of clarity, while it seems obvious when saying he’s the top prospect in all of the 2019 recruiting class, James Wiseman is a five-star graded player.
Wiseman, who most project to be an instant impact player, averaged 15.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks a game in the Nike EYBL circuit for the Bluff City Legends.
Not all outlets, however, have him slotted as the nation’s very best 2019 prospect. There are some who believe he is either the second or third — all of which is splitting hairs. Basically, just know people project him to be an excellent player.
A nation is waiting to see what happens next, as Wiseman is a program changing type of prospect.
