Ohio State Buckeyes coach Chris Holtmann is attempting to do some major work on the recruiting trail in a single day. According to Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, Holtmann will meet with three different five-star prospects on Tuesday.
For those unaware, that’s 15 stars between just three players, which means they’re probably pretty good at basketball. Hooray, recruiting jokes!
The report states Chris Holtmann has already seen Max Christie, a five-star prospect out of the 2021 recruiting class. It also indicates he will check out Cade Cunningham and Moses Moody, both five-star prospects in the 2020 grouping.
It’s worth noting that all reputable recruiting service outlets do agree most of these guys are indeed five-star caliber players. Furthermore, even those that have a few of them pegged as four-star level recruits, do believe all are at the very least one of the 45 (or so) best players in their respective recruiting classes.
Only time will tell if Holtmann going to town on the trail in a single day will pay off for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Either way, this certainly can’t hurt.
