The Ohio State Buckeyes offered a scholarship to 2020 four-star talent Che Evans when the player was taking an unofficial visit with the school.
We’re less than two weeks removed from Evans releasing his final 10 potential landing spots. For the sake of clarity, those programs are the Boise State Broncos, Boston College Eagles, Florida Gators, Georgetown Hoyas, Long Beach State, Ohio State Buckeyes, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, TCU Horned Frogs, Texas Tech Red Raiders and UCLA Bruins.
While nearly all reputable recruiting service outlets have Che Evans pegged as a four-star caliber player, not all agree where he’s ranked among the best players in the country, with some outlets having him slightly outside top 100 boards.
We have mentioned it in a previous recruiting post involving the young man, but considering he still has 10 schools left on his potential landing spots list, there’s likely a decent amount of time between now and whenever he ultimately commits.
Still, not a bad move by Ohio State to try to get on the board early by offering the young man a scholarship.
