Dudley Blackwell, a four-star wing prospect out of the 2020 recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Ohio State Buckeyes. This news was relayed on the mean streets of Twitter by Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten.
Weingarten also mentioned that the Providence Friars and Oklahoma State Cowboys had already offered the young man a scholarship.
As for Dudley Blackwell, not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have him pegged as a four-star caliber player, but most tend to agree he’s one of the 90 (or so) best players in the entire 2020 grouping.
From Florida, among plenty of other programs interested in his services, the Miami Hurricanes and Florida Gulf Coast Eagles are both eyeing the 6-foot-5 talent.
An important season is coming for the Ohio State Buckeyes. As the Big Ten continues to evolve, especially with a few offensive-focused coaches like Fred Hoiberg joining the fold, it is important to show consistent success at — or at least near — the top of the league.
